This takes place a few months after Nora leaves Torvald...
It is early spring. People are busy walking around the streets. Couples out walking, men walking to work, children running around, and women running errands. On the corner down a small side street is dance school. The dance school is called Ms. Nora's School of Dance. The dance school was a two story building, the first floor was dancing school and the second floor is the apartment. Nora opened this dance school a few months after she left Torvald. She leaves the school and heads to small cafe for lunch.
Host: Welcome Ms. how can help you?
Nora: Hello I like a table for lunch please
Host: Will you be eating alone?
Nora: Yes (The host nods grabs a menu and leads Nora to a table by the window)
Host: You watier will be here in a moment (Walks away)
Nora: (Looks at the menu and then stares out the window. She is thinking about how Torvald and the children are doing. Her thoughts are interrupted by the watier)
Waiter: Hello Ms. I will be your waiter today get you something to drink?
Nora: Tea please. (Waiter walks away for a momnet and returns again and takes her order. Suddenly the door opens and in walks Torvald. Nora and Torvald make eye contact. Tovald ingores the Host walks towards Nora.)
Torvald: Nora!!! Hello!! How are you my little songbird? (Sits down without asking permission)
Nora: Hello Torvald. I'm fine and you know that I'm not your songbird anymore...
Torvald: But you can be again, my dear Nora. Come home, I miss and so do the children.
Nora: Torvald I do believe that the children miss me as their mother but, it is you who I don't believe.
Torvald: Why don't you believe me Nora?? I do miss you...
Nora: Torvald you don't miss me. You miss how I acted like a child and how you have to teach me everything. I am not helpless little girl Torvald nor am I your little doll. Torvald what happen between us was terrible and I do miss the children but I've moved on from that situation.
Torvald: Nora, what are saying?? (His voice now shaking)
Nora: Torvald what I'm saying is that I'm not going back home with you. I'm no longing your songbird anymore. I will never go back to that lifestyle again. I have my own business nowand that is what I have to worry about now.
Torvald: So your saying that your not coming home? That you've moved one?
Nora: (Raising from her seat) That is exactly what I'm saying Torvald. I think its time that you moved on as well... (Leaves the cafe before ever getting her food. She also leaves a very stunned Torvald)
Torvald: (Talking to himself) She right. I do need to move on. Helmer all those months drowning in depression are gone. I need to be a better father to my children. (He smiles and walks out of the cafe.)
Torvald is finally at peace with himself and at peace with Nora. Torvald spends lots of time with the children. Every once and awhile he take them to go vist Nora at her dance school. Nora and Torvald are friends now and have moved on. Nora is engaged to her new so to be husband. Torvald is happy that Nora has found love again and he and the children are invited to the wedding.
